3. Teaming up with Connie

Season 9 was good for Daryl. After running into the woods to find solitude and search for Rick Grimes, he returned to find support and friendship from many survivors. One of those people was a bit of a surprise.

Connie joined the show as part of Magna’s group, but she quickly took a shining to Daryl. The two share an aggressive style of seeking the truth and protecting those they care about…even if it means putting themselves in danger to do so.

Daryl struggles to express himself emotionally while Connie expresses herself through notes. The two still find a way to work through their issues while calling each other out on things and working together for a common cause.

These two need to be on more missions together. If these two can fight by each other’s side in season 10, their battles with the Whisperers or any other threat that presents themselves in the future.
