Althea hasn’t been seen since she disappeared at the end of the Fear the Walking Dead season 5 premiere. Something about the armor-wearing walker wasn’t sitting well with her, and upon examination she discovered that he had extensive maps on his person. Unfortunately, Al was attacked before she was able to tell Morgan what she saw.

Thanks to the interrupted conversation, Morgan and company know something happened to Al but they’re not sure what it is. They have been looking for her to no avail, and now fans will learn what befell her after she was knocked out.

“Althea chases a story with dogged determination, putting the mission and her life in danger.”

If ever there was a time when Al’s quest for “the story” has gone too far, it might be this moment. Al never should have gone out alone, at night and in the rain no less, but she did and that’s how she ended up where she is now. Al’s stories have been helpful, certainly, but this might be one time when the story got the best of her.
