Fear The Walking Dead, Skidmark: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) I hadn’t thought of this before, but, the fate of the parents at Camp Cackleberry — Burning zombies, breathing in the contaminated smoke and, in turn, becoming zombies themselves — is eerily reminiscent of the 1985 zombie classic, The Return Of The Living Dead.
14) Strand using the plane’s propellers to mow down the herd chasing Daniel is the second time this season we’ve seen someone from the group use that particular tactic, the first being Alicia (Albeit, in a different way) in the season opener, “Here To Help”.
15) Who gave Daniel the cigar? And, what’s this thing he has to take care of? Will we follow his journey to wherever this thing is?
16) Annie and Max’s group is the first group seen in either Walking Dead show (Apparently) comprised entirely of kids.
17) While I would imagine if they had, they’d be showing symptoms by now, but…are the kids contaminated with radiation from their parents burning the radioactive infected?
18) Morgan telling Alicia about Jenny and Duane is the first time Morgan’s told either of their stories since all the way back in The Walking Dead Season Three episode, “Clear”, where he told Rick what happened to Duane.
19) When telling Alicia about his family, Morgan refers to Duane in the present tense, meaning his walker is wandering around, somewhere.
And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
