5. A fitting farewell
By now, fans have likely heard that season 10 of The Walking Dead will be the final season for Danai Gurira to play Michonne on the show. This has been confirmed by multiple sources and looks to be a reality which fans will need to accept.
The biggest question right now is how and when Michonne’s farewell episode will be. Hopefully, the character gets to stick around for a while and be a part of some major scenes before the final goodbye airs.
Of course, most fans want her to leave the show and find Rick Grimes. However, it would be a little awkward for her and Rick to move to the movies without Judith and RJ by their sides. Still, that would be an option.
Killing the character off is another possibility, but after considering everything fans have seen the strong survivor overcome over the years, it is a question of what kind of threat could be powerful enough to take her down.
