This week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead features the two groups trying to get back to each other. Here’s your recap of “The Little Prince.”

Fear the Walking Dead  episode “The Little Prince” begins with Annie in the truck stop bathroom. Like Morgan early on in season 4, she takes time to get cleaned up while the rest of the kids enjoy a movie – yes a movie – in the back. Max rifles through power bars while Dylan reads “The Little Prince.” When Annie arrives, Max can’t believe she’s the same person because it has been so long since he’s seen her so clean. She makes a face and tells him that they should make use of the hot water while they can.

Morgan calls in on the radio and thanks her for keeping an eye on the kids and the truck stop while they’re gone. He tells them that they won’t be there much longer, though. She reminds him about the radiation signs but he has a plan to get out. He asks them to open the gate.

Outside is a caravan of trucks hauling pieces of plane into the truck stop. As they roll in Morgan’s voice talks about how they didn’t reveal everything to the kids. They had been broken by the things that had happened to them, but they aren’t running away anymore. The journey has been a rough one, but they haven’t given up. They have something to fight for. They’re fighting for each other, and now they’re also fighting for the kids. Though it might seem impossible, they have done the impossible before but they need their help now.

Everyone gets out of the trucks and they face the kids. Luciana says they need help, and Dylan asks what they need. She replies that they’re going to fix the plane and fly back home. Together.

Cue the credits, here we go! This week’s credits feature a road going through the center of the field, with walkers milling about in the middle of the field and a lone sunflower blooming. The sun is poking through the clouds.
