Morgan exits the truck stop with his new pipe weapon. He walks past the plane, which is coming together nicely. He calls Grace on the radio but hears no response. He talks to her anyway, telling her that they have some people she might want to meet.

Grace, in her contamination suit, turns off the radio and heads down the road past the cars warning people to keep out.

Later, Morgan practices with his pipe weapon but he’s not thrilled with its balance. It works, but it’s not perfect. He goes into the supply closet and looks at the assortment of brooms and mops. Alicia finds him wrestling with a mop, trying to get the mop part off. He laughs  when he sees her, and she smiles and laughs, too. She asks if he’s ok, and he is. They laugh some more before she asks for help with the landing gear.

Outside Al is in charge of fixing the plane while the kids bring parts back and forth. Dylan stays close to Luciana and asks if this is going to work, and she asks what he thinks. He thinks it will, because The Little Prince says so. If he believes, it will. Al asks if his heart will fix a reduction gear box.

On the other side of the mountain, Charlie rushes out to the plane, which is still on the trailer, and she asks Sarah about the part. Al needs to know how to fix something, so Sarah is looking at the corresponding parts on their plane to help her. First, though, she has to clean off the remains of the “jerky man jerky” that are left from when Strand used the plan to help Salazar. Some liquid falls on her face and she’s hoping it’s oil. She asks Strand for a beer, because working on things like this are easier with a buzz.

Charlie radios to say that it will be a few minutes, and Dylan acknowledges it. Luciana is there with him at the radio, but Annie isn’t happy that he’s talking to strangers. Dylan knows their names, but Annie says it doesn’t matter because all they’re doing is helping them get ready to leave. That’s it. June watches all of this with interest and asks to check on Annie’s ankle while Luciana goes outside with Max and Dylan.

June tells her that she knows she wants to run because she used to run, too, but she never ran with a sprained ankle. She advises her to wait and get some shoes and socks. “My boyfriend says survival starts with socks.” She adds that last bit as Dorie and Dwight come in. They’re going to go looking for Sherry so that she can leave with them. June asks Dwight to make sure that Dwight keeps an eye on Dorie while Annie watches the couple share a kiss.

Back outside, Al fires up the plane’s engines. They come to life and the propeller starts spinning. She smiles as everyone watches, but then something starts happening. The propeller starts getting shaky and Luciana yells for everyone to get down as the propeller snaps. Alicia grabs the piece of propeller and starts to take out an approaching walker when Morgan rushes up and kills it. “Ah, you fixed the mop,” she observes drily.

They’re interrupted by a call from Grace, who asks if they have a generator. She needs it, badly, because if they don’t bring it to her there will be another meltdown.
