Fear the Walking Dead 507 synopsis: Still Standing

Fear the Walking Dead continues with season 5 episode 7 “Still Standing.” Here’s your synopsis of episode 507, airing July 14.

Time is ticking on Fear the Walking Dead and in this week’s episode the race to get out of Nuclear City intensifies as the meltdown becomes imminent. “Still Standing” is the penultimate episode before the mid-season finale, and it’s time for things to heat up in the Lone Star State.

When the Fear the Walking Dead group is together, they are a formidable force, but as the ensemble grows it’s harder and harder for the group to stay together. At the end of “The Little Prince” Morgan was out trying to find Grace, Alicia had gone in search of the kids, John and Dwight were on their mission to find Sherry, Luciana and company were still at the truck stop and Strand and Charlie had just crash landed their hot air balloon shaped like a beer bottle.

The challenge is making sure the plane will be able to get everyone out of Nuclear City before the reactor melts down. With so much distance between everyone, getting back to the truck stop could pose a serious challenge. That’s not to mention that Dwight is still hopeful that Sherry is out there and the kids don’t seem willing to leave.

With “Still Standing” the stage will be set for the mid-season finale on July 21. Thankfully there will only be a few short weeks until the mid-season premiere in early August.
