Fear The Walking Dead, The Little Prince: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) While it’s clear why, it’s amusing that Morgan should warn Strand and Charlie not to get any walker blood on them, when one considers how confused Walking Dead shows seem to be about how dangerous walker blood is over the last few seasons.
14) This episode gets its name not only from the eponymous book Luciana gave Dylan earlier in the season, but also, how this episode (Mostly) mirrors the book’s plot of a pilot repairing his damaged plane and flying away, as much of the episode focuses on the group’s attempts to do just that to get out of their predicament.
15) Of the approximately thirty-one contaminated walkers (If Alicia’s remark in “The Hurt That Will Happen” about finding half of them among the pile at Camp Cackleberry is accurate, anyways), at least ten appear to be advancing on Charlie and Strand as the episode ends.
16) ::Addendum to last week’s Things To Note:: The revelation of Jesse’s death explains why Al insisted on Sarah going to be with Wendell while she tried to hold off the infected at the hospital in Season Four’s fourteenth episode, “MM 54”. In that episode, she told Sarah to be with him “Because there’ll be a time when when you won’t get to.” Knowing what we now know about Al, this exchange takes on greater meaning.
And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
