The Walking Dead season 10 first photo released showing Michonne

The first official photo of The Walking Dead season 10 is out and it shows Michonne in a precarious position.

Get excited The Walking Dead fans! Season 10 of The Walking Dead is getting closer every day and as everyone waits for Friday’s big trailer reveal there is a lot of new information being released. Yesterday some great tidbits about the new season were released in an interview with Angela Kang. Today EW released an exclusive photo from The Walking Dead season 10 showing Michonne surrounded by walkers and flames. You can see the photo here.

It’s a little bittersweet that the first photo released is of Michonne knowing that Danai Gurira will be existing the series sometime during this season. But fans are hopeful that Michonne will be featured in the upcoming movies about Rick Grimes. If Rick and Michonne don’t get to be together eventually the fans will riot. Michonne has become such an integral part of the series it’s hard to imagine that the character would be killed off. Instead, she will most likely leave Alexandria on some kind of mission.

It’s not known yet how Michonne will exit the series or whether or not she will be taking RJ and Judith with her when she goes. Even with so much uncertainty, it’s fantastic to finally get a look at the upcoming season. This season the survivors will have to deal with Alpha and the Whisperer threat which isn’t going to be easy. They already know that Alpha is capable of horrific carnage.

SDCC Coverage

It’s going to be a very exciting week with lots of news and information coming out before the big events on Friday.
