Sarah calls Wendell, who says the runway is clear and ready to go. He assures his sister that she can do the next step of her job, but she’s not so sure.

She pulls the truck in front of the denim factory and gets out as Logan approaches. He looks much worse for wear. “Nice shiner,” she says in greeting. When he asks her to move, calling her “sweetheart,” she warns him that he’s about to get another black eye if he calls her that again.

Logan thinks she’s there because they want the place back, and it happens that his people are about to leave. She says they’re not leaving until he helps her to help her friends fly in. If they can line up the runway they can use their headlights to give them a guide. He’s not willing to help, and she points out that she and Wendell stole their truck from Clayton and not a day goes by that she doesn’t regret doing it. Here he’d been out trying to help people and they screwed him over.

Logan likes her speech but he’s not willing to help them. Clayton stuck his neck out and it got him killed. Logan likes breathing.

John and Dwight drive along. They’re 15-20 miles out from their destination and the truck runs out of gas. The tank is full but the gas is bad. John looks up and sees the smoke from the plant and they realize that the plant has blown.

June calls him and he calls her “sweetheart” but he knows he might not make it back. He makes her promise that they’ll take off without him if they need to. “From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew I’d found my reason to live,” he says. He needs her to have a reason to live, too, whether or not he’s there with her. He tells June the same thing Sherry told Dwight. June struggles to maintain control as John tells her that he loves her.

Dwight feels terrible that he brought John into the middle of his search for Sherry, which took him away from June. John sees a tree with a message on it: “If you’re reading this is means you’re still here.” John realizes that the note might not have been the only thing Sherry left him. And maybe her car is nearby.

The wind picks up. Luciana finds June and asks if she’s ok. She hands Luciana the radio as they realize the wind has changed direction. Morgan, Alicia and Grace come running from the woods with the herd behind them.
