Fear the Walking Dead 508 recap: Is Anybody Out There?

The plane flies through the air. Alicia asks Morgan if this was enough, and then she asks what they’re supposed to do now. Morgan wants to keep helping people but they also have to make sure they’re living, too. He has no idea how to do it, though.

Suddenly Grace gets up and she breaks Morgan’s stick in half, tossing the radiated part out the door. She’s fixed it now.

June asks John if Dwight will be all right, and he thinks he will be. If not for him he wouldn’t have made it out alive. He pops a candy into his mouth and uses the wrapper to fashion a ring, telling her that he can’t go on without letting her know how much he loves her. She loves him, too. Dwight and the kids watch them share this moment.

Back at the landing strip the team connect a bunch of Christmas lights together, using a generator to power them. The plane is in the distance.

Strand calls Sarah to report that they are low on fuel. Al looks up and sees the lights. She tells everyone that they need to see it.

In the meantime, Wendell is at the generator and a walker approaches. He uses the blades on his chair to trap it but another one comes and trips on the cord with the lights. He calls to Sarah and tells her he might not make it out alive. He falls from his chair and crawls to the generator to plug it back in as Sarah and Salazar run to find him. The plane makes a bumpy landing.
