Fear The Walking Dead, Still Standing: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
11) The dead following Annie and Max back to their base while they try to reset their walker fence is (Barring a few details) the exact same problem that befell their group’s parents back at Camp Cackleberry. Somehow, I doubt that was a coincidence on the part of the writers…
12) After trying (And failing) to reach John after collecting the fuel, June chuckles about not having spoken to John in a year after bailing on him in Season Four’s “Laura”. This is the first time we’ve heard precisely how long it had been between when June left John and when John found her again in Season Four’s “Just In Case”. John often said “a long time”, but, not, specifically, how long it was.
13) With how much Al and June’s conversation about finding John (And Isabelle) kept driving home how June would see John again…should we be worried? I mean, I know John was shown in the trailers for the second half of the season, but…that doesn’t mean he’ll last long in the second half of the season, does it?
14) Alicia telling Annie she needs to know when to let go seems like it’s meant to reference The Group’s attempt at a last stand at The Diamond, and the harsh lesson they had to learn about knowing when to go, which may also play out again later, considering that Alicia got radioactive blood on her face whilst fighting the infected. God knows what may happen to Alicia from this point forward.
15) Morgan recounting his time in Crazytown to Grace is the first time Eastman has been named thus far in Fear.
And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
