Dynamic The Walking Dead alum Chad Coleman and the cast of The Orville will be moving from Fox on cable television to the streaming service Hulu in 2020 for season 3!

Our talented Chad Coleman since leaving The Walking Dead has been reaching the stars and achieving that goal by boarding the U.S.S Orville! In this Emmy nominated space comedy, he plays the character Kylden! His character on The Orville is vastly different from the Tyreese we had the privilege to know and love on The Walking Dead. Demonstrating the true meaning of being a versatile actor!

On The Walking Dead, his character was a truly kind and forgiving man, who saved Judith from a terrible fate. He could also destroy a horde of walkers with only a hammer! Complex to say the least. In real life Chad has the humanity of Tyreese, extending a helping hand to others and sending out positive vibes in any way possible.

I began watching The Orville after seeing Chad Coleman would be joining the cast. His character Klyden is of the Moclan race, a very serious race of only males. His mate is another Moclan named Bortus who is Lieutenant Commander on the U.S.S. Orville. Together they have a son named Topa. Their extremely dysfunctional relationship is one of the most enjoyable things to watch. I believe their serious nature is actually what makes them so funny, the jokes with and/or about them are just so effortless.

This explosive show will be moving to Hulu in 2020 for its third season. Previously it was airing Thursdays on Fox, then after airing live on cable television, the episodes would be available on Hulu. I am a person who would wait until the following day to view it on Hulu, so this doesn’t change for me. However, this move is being met with criticism from fans who love the show but do not want to buy Hulu services for only one show.

As a fan, this does concern me as I do not want this to hurt the show. However, Seth MacFarlane has taken to Twitter to address some questions and comments viewers had.

This answer gets me very excited for season 3! Longer episodes or extra scenes could mean more attachment to characters or possibly deeper storylines! The only news that truly makes me sad regarding The Orville‘s move, is that we have to wait until 2020. However, it’s always okay to wait for perfection!
