Gage

We haven’t seen much of Gage (Jackson Pace) in The Walking Dead so far, but what we do know is that he likes to stir up trouble.

Whether it’s playing games with a trapped walker while drunk or trying to convince Lydia that Henry was into Addy (Kelley Mack) instead of her, Gage has a very disruptive personality.

That’s exactly why he’s a prime suspect to be the one behind the “Silence the Whispers” campaign.

Leading a propaganda campaign that threatens to drive the community apart would align perfectly with Gage’s habit for causing trouble. However, while his past misbehavior has mostly been done with the intent of being funny, this propaganda campaign could represent a darker turn for Gage’s character.

After losing his two best friends, Addy and Rodney (Joe Ando-Hirsh), at the hands of Alpha and the Whisperers, Gage likely holds a grudge against the villainous group. While he may not be the most able-bodied fighter, he would still want to see the Whisperers wiped out. This may motivate him to create the messages about “silencing” the Whisperers once and for all.

With so many beloved characters leaving the show by the end of season 9, this could be the chance for Gage to play a bigger role in season 10.
