Fear the Walking Dead features an ambitious fifth season with a lot happening. However, damage done during filming reportedly has Travis County upset.

It’s been a little while since Fear the Walking Dead wrapped their filming for season 5, but it is being reported that things may not have gone as smoothly when the show was on location in Travis County, Texas on Feb. 28.

According to KXAN-NBC Austin, the county recommends sending AMC and production company Stalwart Films a bill for $74,000 to pay for “damaged sidewalks, dirty curbs, and debris along the road” as reported in a county document.

The exact location was given for the problem area:

"“Filming took place on Feb. 28 on what was then called Braker Lane near East Metro Park. The road has since been renamed Petrichor Blvd.”"

For now, Travis County will start on the repairs using TNR’s Road & Bridge funds center after they cleared Stalwart Films from liability on Tuesday.

KXAN also says the production crew has trouble when cleaning roads after filming. The power washing being done strips the sealant off the asphalt and can remove some of the reflective beads from the strips.

By now, fans are well aware that Fear the Walking Dead films their show primarily in Central Texas, mostly around the Austin area. While damages are bound to happen while creating an environment in the zombie apocalypse with explosions, blood, vehicles, and more, whether or not AMC and Stalwart Films will pay the bill they receive is up in the air.

Whether AMC and the production company foot the bill for the damages or not, season 5 of Fear the Walking Dead will return for the second half of season 5 on Aug. 11 to give fans more opportunities to see the survivors attempt to save anyone stranded in the zombie apocalypse.
