Triple dose of The Walking Dead Universe on August 11: How and when to watch

Fans of The Walking Dead Universe are about to get a triple shot of the Dead on August 11 with three hours of TWD goodness. Here’s what you need to know!

August 11 is a big day for fans of The Walking Dead Universe. Not only does the date mark The Walking Dead Season 10 Preview Special, but it also marks the return of Fear the Walking Dead for the second half of season 5 as well as the mid-season premiere of Talking Dead. Over the course of a four hour period there will be three solid hours of the TWD Universe goodness.

The fun begins with The Walking Dead Season 10 Preview Special at 8pm ET. Chris Hardwick will be joined by The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang, as well as Khary Payton and Josh McDermitt. Now that the big SDCC trailer has been released, it’s time to learn more about what fans can expect when the show returns on October 6.

At 9pm it’s the mid-season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. Alicia, Morgan, Strand and the gang have been out there helping people after reuniting with their friends in the mid-season finale. Now in “Channel 4” the stakes are higher than ever as more people ask for help and new dangers lurk at every turn.

Finally, Talking Dead returns at approximately 11:07pm following Preacher. Chris Hardwick will once again be back to take fans through all of the ups and downs of “Channel 4.” He will be joined by stars Danay Garcia, Karen David and Maggie Grace.

Please note that some cable providers have “Paid Programming” listed after Preacher. If this is the case where you are, your DVR might not record Talking Dead, so make sure you check local listings and create a manual recording if necessary.
