In this exclusive clip from Fear the Walking Dead episode 510, Dwight finds himself in a predicament but he’s more in control than he realizes.

Fear the Walking Dead has seen many of its characters searching for redemption so far in season 5, and there’s no character more in need of redemption than Dwight. Now that he’s part of the gang, he has a chance to forge a new identity and to be a better man. In this exclusive clip from episode 510’s “210 Words Per Minute” Dwight realizes that his traumatic past might be able to help more than he ever imagined.

Though Morgan knows of Dwight’s past as a Savior on The Walking Dead, Morgan is also the kind of man who understands that people can – and frequently do – change. He wasn’t privy to the details of Dwight’s assistance in All Out War, nor is it likely that Dwight will ever tell him that the only reason he left Alexandria was because of Daryl, but in a way this is for the best because it allows Dwight to adopt a new narrative.

Among his new friends, Dwight is no longer known for being the former Savior. No one aside from Morgan knows who Negan is. Dwight is his own man and he, too, is looking for redemption and he has come to realize that his new friends will be the ones to help him find it.

Morgan and Grace search an abandoned shopping mall for supplies and to fulfill a dying man’s wish. There, the mission quickly turns to a fight for survival. Meanwhile, Dwight’s resolve to be a better man is tested.
