This week’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead pays tribute to Dawn of the Dead with a trip to the mall. Naturally, no trip to a giant mall in the middle of the apocalypse is ever a safe proposition, but the need for supplies to care for a giant caravan outweighs the risks. So when Morgan, Grace and Dwight go on an adventure to find a survivor in need things quickly take a turn.

Morgan and Grace are a great team. He understands her need to atone for the past, and she’s respectful of his quiet nature and the things he says – as well as the things he doesn’t say. Now that Grace has joined the group she’s in charge of supplies, and when supplies run low it means it’s time for a supply run.

During the trip to the mall Dwight finds himself in a jam. Thankfully Dwight is a survivor and the former Savior knows how to get out of trouble. But there might be an opportunity to learn more about Logan if he can stay alive long enough.

“Morgan and Grace search an abandoned shopping mall for supplies and to fulfill a dying man’s wish. There, the mission quickly turns to a fight for survival. Meanwhile, Dwight’s resolve to be a better man is tested.”
