Fear The Walking Dead, Channel 4: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
15) The fact Sarah is both playing and singing the song “Convoy” is both ironic (Though, in-show, it’s clearly intentional on her part) and funny.
16) Additionally, the fact that Daniel should say that the trucker music is not music (Considering that Ruben Blades, who portrays Daniel, is a musician), is also funny.
17) In a nice show of foresight on the part of Sarah (And the writers, frankly), she tells Charlie to kill the camera before they arrive at where they have the gas stored (Either their stash or the oil field).
18) Daniel raises a good point (As we will see later): With Logan still roaming around, and possibly having some idea where the gas stash is, he will continue to pose a problem. I also appreciate the fact that Daniel, with his history in war, should be the one to address the threat Logan poses and the prudence of eliminating him.
19) Apparently, Sarah has taken to calling Charlie “Chuckles”.
20) While trying to reach Tess, Morgan tells her it took him a long time to get out of the first place he was holed up in, but, when Al presses him later about why, he says “Just did”. Is that a subtle reference to Duane’s death?
21) Speaking of references, in talking about Tess, June says “That’s what happens when you settle in one place too long. Things go bad”. Is that a reference to Madison’s demise back in the Season Four midseason finale “No One’s Gone”?
