Fear The Walking Dead, Channel 4: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
22) While trying to find some medicine for Tess’s son, Alicia finds a tree with the message “If you’re reading this, you’re still here” painted on it. This can’t be the same one John and Dwight found, could it? Either way, who’s leaving the messages? Sherry? If not, are they really as benevolent as we’ve been led to believe?
23) Alicia recounting Madison’s habit of looking for the good whenever she left The Diamond is a trait first seen in Nick’s final episode, Season Four’s “Good Out Here”.
24) According to Alicia, she “hasn’t killed [walkers]” since the group returned from the nuke zone. Funny enough, she’s found a new way of arriving at a point in dealing with the dead (Or rather, not dealing with the dead) that both Travis and Nick reached in Season One and Two, respectively.
25) John calls the land mines “The ugliest mustard I’ve ever seen”, and comments on his use of the term, which we first heard him say in response to Al’s SWAT van machine guns in the Season Four opener, “Who Are You Now?”.
26) Ben, Tess’s husband, is the first named walker we’ve met in this half of the season.
