Fear The Walking Dead’s latest episode hit some emotional nerves for fans as Morgan tried to say goodbye to his past but couldn’t quite let go.
Fear The Walking Dead “210 Word Per Minute” was the best kind of bottle episode. It hit some heavy emotional notes but also had some gruesome walker kills and some touching moments of humanity. Character development was the focus of this episode. Grace had to decide how she was going to live in the rest of the time that she has left and she chose to embrace each day without worrying about whether or not the end was imminent due to her radiation poisoning.
She and Morgan shared some wonderful moments as she tried to help him open up about his family and say goodbye to the grief and guilt he’s been carrying about his wife Jenny’s death and his son Duane’s death. The moments where Morgan talked about them were emotional for fans and were nice callbacks to season 1 of The Walking Dead.
Grace and Morgan also got to offer some human compassion to Chuck, who was the one who called them to the mall. Chuck was bitten and was dying but wanted to die outside, under the stars. Despite the clouds he got a starry sendoff courtesy of Grace. Grace and Morgan sat with Chuck while he faded out, the last compassionate act that anyone can offer someone dying in that world.
But Grace and Morgan weren’t the only ones who got the chance to define their destiny. Dwight had to choose between being careful or being right, and he chose to let Logan’s bully go instead of doing the careful thing and killing him. It was an emotional episode and fans had lots of feelings about the fantastic performances by Lennie James, Karen David, and Austin Amelio in “210 Words Per Minute”:
A mall is probably a good place to be during all of this. #FearTWD

The brightly lit carousel in the dreary field of the #FearTWD opening is kind of its own unique nightmare fuel.

This season of Fear has been amazing. Dwight's development is so good and satisfying to see. And I legitimately just got a load of feels from that star scene with Chuck. #ftwd #feartwd

And a lighter moment to counteract the heavy emotions that dominated this week’s Fear The Walking Dead:
I think we all related to Daniel’s desire for Cinnabon.
