The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus has dance-off with walkers

You can always count on Norman Reedus and his Instagram account to brighten your day. One of his latest posts features his dance-off with walkers.

As The Walking Dead prepares to celebrate its tenth season, at this point TWD fans have become accustomed to star Norman Reedus and his zany Instagram account. Sure, he has his fair share of adorable family photos and quite a few photos featuring his cat and his bikes. He’s also known for sharing some of the most unique fan art out there in addition to great behind the scenes photos, such as the one featuring a very special dance-off.

The latest gem from Reedus’ Instagram account looks to be from the middle of season 9 when The Walking Dead sets were covered in snow. Reedus stands with his back to the camera and he’s flanked by Danai Gurira as they stare at some walkers in the distance. With crossbow in hand, Reedus starts to do a little dance, and eventually the walker responds in kind.

Here’s the video, with the caption “Making zombies dance between takes in the snow”:

As you can see, Gurira has to do a double take at Reedus to figure out what’s happening, and that he’s the one egging on the dancing walker, and when the camera pans back you can see Khary Payton cracking up at the whole scene. Even Jeffrey Dean Morgan commented on the post with laughter at the sight of the dance-off.

What’s more is that the walker’s moves get more and more animated throughout the video, and you can only imagine the laughs on set as this was unfolding. With the knowledge of what happened in those wintery scenes, it’s nice to see the cast having some fun given the intensity of the scenes being filmed.

The Walking Dead returns for season 10 on Sunday, October 6 at 9pm on AMC.
