The Walking Dead season 10 promo wants to silence the whispers

When The Walking Dead returns for season 10 in October, the Whisperers will be a major part of the story. But can the survivors silence the whispers?

Season 9 of The Walking Dead is about to hit Netflix and many fans are about to get their first taste of Alpha and the Whisperers and their amazingly destructive and disturbing way of survival. For others, excitement is building as the show is heading into season 10.

So far, teasers, previews, and promos have focused a lot on this group of villains. Their way of life is so interesting that they present a threat unlike anything the main group of characters had ever seen and that likely scares and intimidates them.

It appears as though that fear is turning to anger. A new promo shared on the official Twitter account of AMC’s The Walking Dead shows that many people want the Whisperers silenced, or if we’re being a bit more direct, eradicated.

This isn’t the first time fans have seen the desire to “Silence the Whisperers” Not only is that a prevalent phrase from the comic book series but multiple promos have featured some version of this phrase, whether it be said out loud or in writing.

Two days ago, another teaser video was shared on Twitter focusing members of Magna’s group writing the phrase on a wall with spray paint, much like fans saw in the trailer for season 10 which was released at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.

After everything that has happened between the Whisperers and the survivors, there is bound to be an exciting showdown between the two groups when season 10 of The Walking Dead starts rolling out on AMC in October. Until then, fans of the popular zombie survival drama series will have to wait with bated breath until they can sink their teeth into new episodes of the show.
