Fear The Walking Dead, You’re Still Here: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
7) Apparently, the raided truck stops were enough to tell the convoy that Logan was still a menace, as this episode marks the first meeting between anyone from the convoy and Wes since his run-in with Logan and company at the end of “Channel 4”.
8) How long has it been since Wes met Logan? With Morgan helping Al, it means this episode takes place after the previous episode, “210 Words Per Minute” (Where Morgan tells Grace he has to go help Al), but Wes doesn’t seem too put out by all the walking he seems to have had to do over the last day (At least) since his meeting with Logan.
9) Wes calls the dead “Eaters”. This is (approximately) the twentieth distinct name for walkers thus far in Fear The Walking Dead.
10) While attempting to kill one of the bank walkers, Morgan swings and misses. This is the first time we’ve seen him straight-up whiff since Grace broke his stick in “Is Anybody Out There?”. Al suggests replacing it, but Morgan balks, saying that he’s fine. Umm…isn’t that stick STILL RADIOACTIVE?!
11) In a nice bit of continuity, when Morgan asks Al how she knows the combination to the safe, she explains that she “Interviewed one of the managers a while back”. This confirms that this bank is the Clemency Savings & Trust, the same bank run by Clark, whom we met in The Althea Tapes webisodes.
12) Is the female walker Morgan and Al find inside the vault Ava Johnson (Clark’s assistant manager, whom he mentions in his webisode, and notes he hadn’t seen since the outbreak)? If so, she’d be the fourth named walker this season, behind Ben (Tess’s husband), Michael Sherman and Robert Deeley, two of the radioactive walkers Grace killed in the first half of the season.
