New friends and fire featured in Fear the Walking Dead 513 preview videos

Next On Fear the Walking Dead | Season 5, Episode 13

The teaser video shared by The Walking Dead on YouTube shows a lot of stuff going on in the upcoming episode. Here are some of the key things to pay attention to and what they might mean for the survivors:

• Fans finally get to see more of Wendell, who hasn’t made much of an impact since the plane landed. Him being a part of the showdown with Logan makes a lot of sense, especially since the characters are no-nonsense and that dialogue should be good!
• One thing you don’t want to see in an oil field is a fire. Not only does that mean resources are likely burning up but the smoke would be difficult to breathe in as they attempt to fight the fire.
• Sarah is getting sneaky by hiding in a box to surprise one of Logan’s crew while others ambush the vehicle. It looks like the same individual who Dwight had previously let go. Maybe Sarah won’t be as kind to him this time around.
• Logan’s crew mention the oil fields being the “ticket to the promised land” but it feels like this might be more of a situation like when the Governor decided that if he couldn’t have something, nobody would. The impact that kind of revelation would have on his group could be big if that is the case.
• Walkers, horses, and guns round out the video with an ingenious walker-powered turbine of sorts using mice as the temptation to keep the undead going. Well played, survivors!
