Lennie James is one of two actors who have crossed over into the Fear the Walking Dead world and he only has one regret with leaving The Walking Dead.

Lennie James is an original cast member from The Walking Dead. He portrays Morgan, who was integral in the life of Rick Grimes. Morgan crossed over into the Fear the Walking Dead world during season 4 and though he’s happy to be there, he does have one regret about leaving The Walking Dead.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, as reported by Cinemablend, James remarked that his only regret on leaving The Walking Dead was that he didn’t get to work with Samantha Morton, who plays Alpha, and Ryan Hurst, who plays Beta. Morgan didn’t get the chance to meet this newest group who have been wreaking havoc for our TWD crew.

"I was very keen to see [Samantha Morton] and [Ryan Hurst]’s characters come into the show, because again they’re two actors I greatly admire, and now regret I didn’t hang around longer so I could have done some work with them."

Morgan Jones and his son Dwayne were the first people to encounter Rick Grimes after he wakes up from his coma. They take him in and care for him way back in Season 1 when Rick was still trying to figure out what had happened in the world. Morgan and Rick shared many moments together, good and bad. Morgan changed a lot during The Walking Dead and has grown even more in Fear the Walking Dead.

It makes me wonder how Morgan would have reacted to the Whisperers if he had met them. He would have had to deal with the loss of Rick initially then deal with the threat of the Whisperers. I believe he would have had trouble dealing with the loss of Rick. They had been friends for a long time and been through a lot together. That surely would have affected how he would handle the Whisperers and their rules. I like to think he would have came along side the remainder of Rick’s group and fought the Whisperers.

Next. 8 characters we need to see with Rick in the The Walking Dead movies. dark

I would love to see James and Lincoln back together in the movies. I always loved the friendship and understanding between their characters. For now we will have to be content with seeing James in Fear the Walking Dead, airing Sundays on AMC.
