The Walking Dead’s “Doctor” Eugene Porter schools us on whether or not you really have a fever in the Alexandria Instructional film titled “So, you have a fever?”.

The Walking Dead’s Dr. Eugene Porter, played by Josh McDermitt, stars in an Alexandria Instructional Film discussing the difference between a fever and “turning”. The Walking Dead released this black and white film as a PSA about fevers during the zombie apocalypse.

The instructional film is entitled “So, You Have a Fever?” and explains the difference between a fever from say dehydration and food poisoning or your body temperature being over 110* and symptoms worsening over a 12+ hour time frame. If it isn’t a fever you have most likely contracted the P.U.O., “Pathogen of Unknown Origin.”

The Walking Dead and many cast members shared the film via their twitter page and other social media outlets.

The Walking Dead is currently filming season 10 and fans have buzzing with excitement since the trailer debuted at San Diego Comic-Con. We have been seen some amazing and fun behind the scenes clips and awesome and creepy teasers for season 10. Before the most recent PSA film, we were also given a sneak peak at a cute Judith Grimes PSA film, with a promised 62 parts, where we will learn what happened “Before”.

Eugene has always been the brains in the group. Especially when he claimed he knew the cure. That insured people would protect him at least until they got him to Washington DC. It was sneaky and deceitful but smart. Once he reveled to the group that he didn’t have the cure he had to learn to live in this world.  Before he couldn’t even kill a walker and now he is welding knives and all kinds of cool stuff. And I can’t forget to mention that he was the genius behind the Saviors’ ammunition blowing up.
