Rick takes a bite of death.

Season 4, episode 16 “A”

Sara K. says:

My favorite moment from season 4 is when Rick Grimes kills one of the Claimers named Joe, when his group threatened to bring harm to Carl & Michonne. Rick, Michonne, and Carl were targeted by the deadly group and Rick went into full kill mode without using a weapon. Rick shockingly took a bite out of Joe’s neck which killed him, and then Michonne and Daryl killed the other Claimers.

This was such an intense, and shocking moment for Rick Grimes. He has never killed someone like this before, and it truly was a sign of how far Rick is willing to go to protect his family. Rick would do anything to save Carl & Michonne, and this moment more than proved that. Rick is a huge force of nature who is not to be messed with and proved that he doesn’t need any weapons to defend his loved ones.

This moment was definitely something in the series that I believe changed Rick going forward. He knew that no matter where they would go, bad people would always follow. This wouldn’t stop Rick however from going forward. Anyone who ever crossed Rick or his people again would definitely be met with blood.
