The video shared on the official YouTube channel of The Walking Dead kicks off with Morgan talking to Althea. They’re talking about something happening with a brother and sister pair and whether or not they should wait before they intervene.
Morgan starts to wonder what Al’s motivation is. He asks her whether she’s looking to truly help or if she is chasing a story and she takes offense to that until realizing it’s actually a pretty fair question.
She looks Morgan in the eyes and says it’s not about a story. He understands but doesn’t want her to go in alone. It’s revealed that there is someone with them who is looking for help and they debate as to whether or not to get him to safety first and that she needs something from “in there” and he should trust her.
This is an odd situation with no context. Who is this individual? What is their issue? and what could Al need from this location other than a story? This might be one of the most revealing sneak peek scenes released by AMC that raises a lot more questions than it answers. Still, it does add some mystery to the upcoming episode.
