What newly released photos reveal about The Walking Dead season 10

The Walking Dead’s Twitter account graced our timelines today with some amazing imagery from season 10! Let’s take a closer look at the setting of some of these photos.

Season 10 is looking more and more exciting as time goes by and we receive more content! Each time The Walking Dead releases any information about the upcoming season, it tends to be of only a couple of characters. While the stream of information grows this can still cause some fuss in the fan base as everyone wants to see their favorite. However, this huge photo drop from today seems to please everyone. From the intense to the cute we get photos of everything!

When I got a chance to look through all of the photos, I noticed that quite a few of them seem to take place at a beach. On first look I did assume this was Oceanside however upon closer inspection, this looks to be a new area Oceanside or another group is clearing out to make their out own. We do see bloated and seaweed covered walkers as well as old and decrepit boats. It doesn’t exactly scream out to me as a place that is inhabited yet.

In this set of photos, we get the idea that people from all communities are in this area at once. Could this be a project that everyone is helping on, and if so what could bring them all together like this? Our friends from the Kingdom could be looking for a brand new place to settle if they feel the old Kingdom is too far gone. It could also be something as simple as a group goes to warn Oceanside of the whisperers and see that our friends there need our help.

In a separate photo, many characters are in a formation on the beach, which is overkill to handle walkers coming out of a boat.

So could all the communities be coming together to build a secret outpost where they practice battle/war tactics for when the whisperer war happens? I don’t think that is a far fetched idea.

The communities are more passionate about reuniting since the devastating pike incident and Siddiq’s speech. So I believe working together like this would be an incredibly smart move. A secret outpost could also aid them if they need to get away fast or store weapons they might need in a pinch.

Whatever the reason could be, at least we get the adorable photo of Judith and RJ out of the events!

In the photo of this iconic sibling duo, they are sitting at what appears to be a child-size table with smaller shells all over it, talking or playing a game. There is a shelf of large shells behind them and they appear to be outside of a small house. If all the groups are on a large project, this could be where they stay with their mother Michonne until all the work gets completed. More moments with them are always welcomed!
