Alden seeks revenge in season 10 of The Walking Dead

Many people lost individuals who were close to them in season 9 of The Walking Dead but Alden is dead set on getting some retribution for the death of Enid.

The Whisperers did a number on the survivors of The Walking Dead. Not only did they make a strong claim to their territory and make good on their demands but they made an example of several strong individuals when creating their border wall made of heads on pikes.

One of those who lost their lives at the hands of Alpha and her group was Enid, a strong-willed, highly personable character who had recently found love at the Hilltop with Alden, a reformed member of the Saviors who showcased his vocal talents at the fair.

Alden realized something was up when Enid failed to watch his performance with Luke from the crowd at the Kingdom, but there is no way he could have imagined he’d be losing her forever in that moment.

Now, with season 10 of the hit AMC zombie drama set to return in October, Alden is left wondering what to do next. He has seen the fall of the Saviors and the is experiencing great pain from losing Enid. What will be next for him?

Recently AMC released a character bio for Alden focusing on season 10. Here is what it says:

"“Alden is on a mission to avenge Enid’s death by attempting to fortify the communities with an impenetrable defense. Knowing defense is only one aspect of an attack, Alden is reactive and proactive in his thinking.”"

There is no doubt that Alden will be out for blood when it comes to the Whisperers. However, what is interesting from this bio is that he doesn’t sound like he will be content in following the rules put in place by Alpha and may go after them on his own or with a group of rebels looking to silence the whispers.

He may not feel safe at the Hilltop after seeing everything that happened, even after fortifying the community, and may harbor some resentment toward other survivors who may have played a role in contributing to the acts of the Whisperers.

Of course, that is all speculation. All we know is that Alden will be one to watch when The Walking Dead returns for season 10. Hopefully, he won’t risk his life too much in order to get revenge for the death of Enid.
