1) This episode begins with Morgan telling Al about Jenny, revealing she was from North Carolina, and that they first met in Raleigh. This is the first bit of backstory we’ve ever gotten on Jenny.

2) During one of the interviews, Morgan also reveals that he had a brother, though, whether he was older or younger, or what his name was, Morgan doesn’t say.

3) As Morgan describes Duane, he says “he was“. This is the first time Morgan’s talked about Duane in the past tense directly. Up to this point, the closest we’ve gotten is him saying (In reference to his family as a whole) “…How we used to be” a couple episodes back in “You’re Still Here”; Prior to that, any reference to Duane was always in the present tense.

4) The fact the posse comes looking for Tom leaves things from last week’s episode…a bit confusing. Whether their pursuit of Tom was simply because of what we learn later about his relationship with The Pioneers is up for debate, but, what shouldn’t be is that the girl Wes saved at The Feedbag was calling out over the radio, yet, The Pioneers didn’t come looking for her. Did they not hear her over the radio? Somehow…I doubt that. Additionally, it makes one wonder if Serena (The woman Logan tried, unsuccessfully, to save) might also have been an escapee from The Pioneers. Maybe that’s why they were in the area when Logan left The Feedbag?

5) This episode’s title sequence features a pile of records strewn about a field as night descends.

6) Tom, the young man the Pioneer Posse was chasing, was, according to him, the president of the Paradise Ridge Home Owner’s Association prior to the outbreak; Only a couple weeks prior, in fact.
