Photos released for the Fear The Walking Dead season 5 finale!

Photos have been released for the season 5 finale of Fear The Walking Dead! Let’s take a closer look and see what hints we may be given about this final episode.

The Walking Dead Twitter account has posted some rather telling photos for this season 5 finale of Fear The Walking Dead! The photos focused on in the tweet appear to be John and June’s wedding.

Apparently we do get to see them get married, and even Skidmark can attend! Not present in the set of photos from the wedding are, Rabbi Jacob, Strand and the couple of the day. Likely Rabbi Jacob is officiating, and I’ll go out on a hopeful limb and say Strand is either watching for them right outside the door or standing closer to the couple which means he cannot be seen in the photos.

Important things to note from these photos are, it seems they have at least cleared out one portion of the gulch, as they get to have the wedding in the chapel. However, I don’t believe they clear the entire town. We can see in other photos there is a barrier in the background being swarmed with walkers. Fair chance this means they can corral some of the walkers into a different area or possibly release them, so they can use some portion to rest in.

By far my absolute favorite photos released are those with Grace and Morgan sharing some sweet and tender moments. One photo is of them on a horse together, which of course made my heart flutter. With Grace’s demise closing in with each episode, putting me in a constant state of worry because I adore her, it makes happy knowing they at least get a few small moments together.

Another set of photos is of Wes and Alicia painting together. Wes is rather new to the series, however, I have taken a liking to his character rather quickly. I enjoy that he brought art back into Alicia’s life. Her character has gone through monumental loss on this show, she has lost every single biological member of her family, as well as having a huge death scare this season.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that when this world first started collapsing she was just a normal high school student from a dysfunctional family, who loved her boyfriend and they shared a love for art. The fact she gets to revisit a portion of who she was before is something I find quite beautiful. I also appreciate that in the photos she is wearing short sleeves and we get to see the tattoo she gave herself from her boyfriend’s drawing a the beginning of the series.

Most of the photos provided seem quite positive. Personally, this being the finale, and the group having just called for help from a group I consider to be villainous, I am worried the photos shown could be some of the only positive moments. This season has been more based in hope, and I’m worried for our group that this could be the last taste of hope they get for a long time.
