Grace and Morgan have had undeniable chemistry in this season of Fear The Walking Dead. Morgan’s long journey has landed him in a position where Grace could give him true happiness.

Morgan Jones has had a long and very emotional journey within The Walking Dead universe. Fear The Walking Dead has brought a truly special element to his story, and that’s happiness. When Morgan saves Rick Grimes in the pilot episode of The Walking Dead spawning all the events in the main show, we meet a very different man.

The Morgan Jones we meet is a man whose heart is truly broken at the loss of his wife, however, on the surface, he is a strong father for his son. Giving Duane support and raising him the right way was still very important to Morgan even though the world they knew had ended. When alone Morgan was still struggling with the fact he could not bring himself to put his walker wife down.

The next time we see him, we see the empty shell of the man we once knew. He stabbed Rick, and he had lost it. It is very important to talk about Morgans loss, I know this has been a popular topic for years at this point because we have gotten to know other characters who have lost more and might not have acted in the same way.

This is where circumstances play a huge part for me. Morgan doesn’t see just his wife die, or just his son die in separate events. Even the same event from an outside source like a car accident would be easier. He has to see the undead love of his life, devour and be the reason his son is no longer here. The death of his son was caused by his son’s mother. All because zombies to this universe were unknown and he couldn’t bring himself to put down his wife.

If I were in Morgan’s shoes, I can’t imagine how I would feel. Not only having witnessed that but the amount of guilt I would feel knowing if I had done something I could have possibly prevented that. I understand why this is something he can’t forget, why this drives so much of his story and why he can’t let it go so easily.

Even when Morgan comes back to the main series after meeting Eastman, his wife and son still mean the world to him. Morgan and Rick Grimes have a very special relationship, they have this intense unspoken bond with each other. Most of the time Rick and Morgan are involved with each other, they believe vastly different things. While they have these differences what makes them unique is that they have a huge amount of respect for one another. No matter what, nothing changes that.

This leads me to the first reason I think Morgan needs Grace in his life
