Grace makes Morgan want to stay

This is an incredible feat Grace has accomplished! Morgan is the type of person who doesn’t like to pursue personal issues with others. He would rather distance himself from Grace than let his true feelings out. When Grace takes that bad turn while with Daniel, we start to see that Morgan regretted his decision to leave.

In episode 15, called “Channel 5” we learn he does regret leaving because he wasn’t there for those at tank town. The first reason he lists though is the fact he wasn’t there for Grace. The entire reason Morgan is on Fear The Walking Dead is because he was running from the happenings on The Walking Dead.

Arguably what happened and what could’ve happened on The Walking Dead with the saviors could have resulted in a bigger issue. Yet he openly chose to leave them at that time. Grace’s death scare, however, was enough to teach him a lesson and make him want to stay. This alone shows how much he cares for her.

This also goes both ways, Grace could’ve easily accepted a fate of dying with the second reactor but she chose to go with the group. She could have even left them after coming back on the plane, but she is still with us. Grace has opened up to Morgan, showing that they do complete each other. So in the process of Morgan trying to help others, Grace ends up helping him and I find that to be a beautiful thing.
