After everything that happened with the Whisperers, it’s not surprising that Carol has a vendetta against Alpha in season 10 of The Walking Dead.

The Whisperers have done a lot of damage to the survivors on The Walking Dead. Despite only being around for a little under a season, Alpha and her followers have brought fear and horror back to the zombie apocalypse.

One person who was hit extremely hard in season 9 was Carol. Not only did she see her relationship with King Ezekiel come to an end, but her family broke down when the Kingdom collapsed and she lost Henry.

Recently, TV Line shared an article discussing Carol’s motivations for season 10 of the popular AMC zombie drama series after talking with Greg Nicotero on the red carpet. Here is what he said:

"“She really doesn’t take things lying down,” the executive producer and special effects guru said. “She’s definitely got a vendetta,”"

As fans have seen in the past, an angry and focused Carol isn’t someone people want to mess with. Whether it is single-handedly bringing down Terminus or wiping out an entire group of baddies for taking a ring and treating Henry badly, there have been plenty of examples of what she is capable of.

The only question is if Carol still has that fire inside her to be a vengeful instrument of death. She had struggled with her murderous ways in the past and taking even more lives could weigh even heavier on her conscience.  After absorbing so much heartbreak and pain, she could either be out for blood or too broken down to do much of anything but wallow in misery.
