Our favorite moments from The Walking Dead season 6

Before The Walking Dead season 10 starts we’re looking back at our favorite moments from The Walking Dead season 6.
The Walking Dead season 6 changed everything for the band of survivors. They settled into life in Alexandria, sort of. They tried to deal with a massive herd by directing them away from the settlement but some of the still descended on and overran the community. Many of the original citizens of Alexandria didn’t survive the onslaught, including Sam, Jessie, and Ron.
Sam couldn’t keep his cool when the family, along with Rick, Carl, and Michonne, wore makeshift ponchos covered in guts to walk among the walkers flooding the streets to get out. He was devoured by walkers, and took Jessie with him. Ron tried to kill Rick, but ended up shooting Carl. Carl lost his eye, but Michonne and Rick were able to get him to Denise at the infirmary in time to save his life.
After things calmed down and Rick and the group essentially took over Alexandria Rick and Daryl met Jesus, who told them that there were other communities that might be interested in trade. And that fateful trip to the Hilltop for the first time kicked off the battle between the Saviors and Rick’s group when Rick agreed to slaughter the Saviors in exchange for food from the Hilltop.
But there were also some big changes in relationships this season. Rick and Michonne finally got together. Maggie and Glenn revealed that Maggie was pregnant. Sasha and Abe started a new relationship. And then everything came crashing down in the season finale when Negan arrived. There were some fantastic bottle episodes too in season 6 like “JSS”, “Here’s Not Here”, and “The Same Boat”. Let’s take a look back at some of the best moments in The Walking Dead season 6 with our panel:
