The Walking Dead returns for season 10 with “Lines We Cross.” Here’s your synopsis of the season premiere episode airing October 6, 2019.

The stakes are higher than ever as The Walking Dead returns for season 10. The group managed to outlast the harsh winter but the threat of Alpha and the Whisperers looms large. Now the group must focus not only on day to day survival, but how to survive the next run-in with the Whisperers because it’s only a matter of time.

Now in its tenth season, The Walking Dead has covered an enormous ground since Rick Grimes woke from his coma and the world keeps getting bigger and bigger. After all these years, the walkers are still as big a threat as ever, but so too are the people who live in this strange new world.

Enough time has passed since the tragic events of season 9, but that doesn’t mean that what happened has been forgotten. Thoughts of revenge aren’t too far away, but this isn’t the time for it. Not yet, anyway.

The season 10 premiere takes us to Oceanside, where we catch up with the group and see what has been happening in the months since the season 9 finale. Preparation is the name of the game.

Here’s the episode description of The Walking Dead “Lines We Cross” from AMC:

“We pick back up with the group in Oceanside continuing to train in case The Whisperers return. Tensions are high as our heroes struggle to hold onto their concept of civilization.”
