The Walking Dead: Sharing our TWD Family stories

TWDFamily and what that means
Renee says:
When The Walking Dead first started I didn’t even watch it. The hubs and my son watched it and would tell me all the time, “You need to watch this! You will love it” Well, it got to be mid-season 3 and I still hadn’t watched it. Then the new year came around I got so sick with some flu bug. I was stuck on the couch for days. Nothing was piquing my interest on TV so I thought I would give it a try. I ended up binge-watching 2.5 seasons in 3 days. I couldn’t stop watching. And, haven’t stopped watching. I have watched some seasons five times.
Now, I am a contributor to the Undead Walking, help with a podcast & website dedicated to TWD called BeaztMode NY, attend Camp Marimac Charity Bash and help with photography for that event, have made friends from all over the world that are so dear to my heart, and have a huge, and growing collection of TWD memorabilia.
It is more than just a bunch of friends that I have made. These people are truly my family! TWD is so much more than a series or comic book. It is a fandom that is fiercely dedicated to all those involved. We stand up for one another, support one another, and treat each other with respect and love. People roll their eyes when they find out about my TWD obsession. I just shrug my shoulders and think…it’s their loss. They will never understand and that is ok! I love my TWDFamily and feel so blessed to be a part of it.
