The Bad Things

  1. Maybe they should be on high alert. Aaron has the right idea by letting everyone know a walker mask was found at the beach. Michonne may not want everyone to panic at the threat of Alpha’s group, but the information alone is enough that other communities should be on watch.
  2. Questioning their role. Aaron asking Michonne if they are the good guys is a fair question. We’ve seen situations where the antagonists to the group thought they were the heroes in a situation, but they really weren’t. It’s good to weigh good against bad, but you can’t let that consume you.
  3. Nanny Eugene. He may not be a biological father, but he is doing a lot of measuring, burping, bottle warming, and baby care for Rosita. Nanny Eugene’s talents might be an odd use of his skills, but it’s nice that he’s got a lot of passion for anything these days, even if it’s not appreciated by the real parents.
  4. Feeling the trauma. After what Siddiq experienced with the Whisperers, it’s no surprise that he’s struggling every day with the fact he watched as his friends died and were used to make a border wall of heads on pikes. It will take a long time for him to work through those feelings, and he may never really accept it, but it will be a process for him.
  5. Being forced to cross the border. A massive fire in the forest created from stuff falling from space made it so the survivors had to try to extinguish the blaze before it grew out of control. The only question is whether Alpha and the Whisperers will find out about it…or, if she does find out, she will understand why they did it. Plus, fighting flaming walkers was really darned cook!
