Interesting Stuff

  1. An adorable army. Jerry’s army of adorable kids gathering items at the beach with Judith during the open was fun after watching the training on the beach. The contrast between the violence and preparing for the worst and collecting seashells made it even more entertaining.
  2. A living legacy. Judith telling R.J. the story of Rick Grimes as a hero leading walkers toward a bridge to blow it up is a wonderful story, but Michonne really didn’t like the part where she talked about ending up in heaven. She is still holding onto hope that Rick is alive, but it seems Judith has accepted her Rick’s death.
  3. Reading is fundamental. It’s strange to think that people who grew up during the zombie apocalypse lack some skills we take for granted. Watching Lydia learn how to read next to the children in Alexandria is kind of tough to accept, but hopefully, she will continue those studies.
  4. They were missed. It feels weird not seeing Tara, Enid, Henry, and some of the others we’ve seen for a while on the show since they had only been missing for one episode before this premiere. Those characters had friendships and bonds with the ones featured and it is odd not to see those interactions anymore.
  5. TWD Rewards. This week, fans can get 400 points for using the code “AFTERMATH” that aired during the Oct. 6 episode of The Walking Dead. In addition, 200 more points are available for the Talking Dead code of “EUGENIUS”. Get yourself some of that sweet, sweet free TWD merch or experiences!
