1) How long has it been since Alpha established her border? Clearly, it’s Winter at this point, so, it has to have been at least a couple of months, I would assume.

2) This episode gets its name from (Among other things) the blizzard which slowly rolls into the area as everyone leaves The Kingdom.

3) If you look carefully, as the caravan stops, you can see that the walker they’re looking at is watching them, as it quickly looks away when it realizes that Yumiko has spotted it.

4) The decrepit female walker torso the caravan passes by (After Alden gets yelled at by Daryl for getting hostile with Lydia) seems like a callback to Hannah, the “Bicycle Girl” walker, whom Rick met in the very first episode, “Days Gone Bye”.

5) This episode is the very first we’ve seen really depict Winter in The Walking Dead, while the Season Two finale, “Beside The Dying Fire”, showed the group having to deal with the cold, this is the first episode to truly depict Winter, in all its brutality.
