The Walking Dead season 10 started out several months after the end of season 9, and there are a few things that fans didn’t get to see.

Time jumps are necessary to advance the plot in The Walking Dead universe, and most of the time things either receive an explanation later on or they’re left to fan imaginations. When it comes to the time jump between season 9 and season 10, only a few months passed but there were some big moments that fans were hoping to see.

Here are the 8 things we missed between season 9 and 10. (And in some cases we’re really hoping that we get some flashbacks over the course of the season)

8. Coco’s birth

Rosita’s pregnancy has been on fans’ minds since season 9, so it was only a matter of time until the baby arrived. But what was Baby Coco’s arrival like? Was she born at the end of that powerful winter storm? Who was there?

We can imagine that Daddy Siddiq was the one to deliver her since he’s the doctor, and Gabriel was probably there to support his girl through labor. But the burning question is whether or not Eugene was there to offer his insight. (Because you know he has insight)

During The Walking Dead Preview Special we learned that Christian Serratos helped inform Rosita’s baby’s name with a family name, Socorro. The name derives from one of the Virgin Mary’s titles, Mary of Perpetual Succour, and it translates to “help” and “relief.”

It’s easy to see what such a powerful family name resonated for Serratos, who wanted Rosita’s baby to be left with a very meaningful moniker. And her nickname, Coco, is absolutely adorable.
