Samantha Morton is taking over The Walking Dead Instagram account on Sunday ahead of this week’s all new episode that takes an inside look at the Whisperers.

She’s terrifying as Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers, but in real life Samantha Morton is an incredible actor and a wonderful person. Fans will have a chance to interact with Morton ahead of this week’s all new episode of The Walking Dead when she takes over The Walking Dead Instagram account.

This week’s “We Are the End of the World” is a look back at the early days of Alpha and Beta as Alpha tries to make a young Lydia understand how to function in this new world. It’s also a chance to introduce Gamma (Thora Birch), the only Whisperer aside from Alpha and Beta to have her own name. (Birch will be a guest on Talking Dead after the episode airs)

When it comes to villains on The Walking Dead, fans have seen everything from smooth talking psychopaths like Negan to ruthless killers like the Governor and hungry cannibals like the folks at Terminus.

Alpha is different from the rest. She’s calculated and utterly fearless, and she commands her army of the living and the dead with an iron fist. No one dares question her authority as the pack leader, and in this week’s episode fans will see how it all started for Alpha and Beta while also taking a close look at the inner-workings of the pack.

AMC’s Instagram takeovers have been immensely popular. Casts of Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead have been interacting with fans ahead of each new episode, sharing behind the scenes photos and secrets from the set. It’s a fun way to connect with fans and build anticipation on Sundays.
