The sneak peek and previews of The Walking Dead episode 1003 reveal that things are heating up now that the Whisperers are back in town.

The first two episodes of The Walking Dead season 10 are in the books and the timelines between the survivors and the Whisperers are caught up, so now it’s time to see what will happen after crossing the borders to fight the fire.

With the newly anointed Gamma at her side, Alpha is ready to teach the pack what happens when you cross her. Beta is also ready to see Alpha return to glory as the leader, and after a nice winter off the pack is ready to make a big return.

Here’s the synopsis of The Walking Dead “Ghosts”:

“The threat of the Whisperers return leads to paranoia sweeping over Alexandria. In the meantime, Carol battles with the need for revenge.”

In the preview for The Walking Dead 1003 it is Gamma who shows up at the gates to tell the people of Alexandria that Alpha would like an audience with them at the border. She doesn’t mince words. You either show up or face the consequences.

Some of the newer faces in Alexandria are ready to exact revenge for what happened on the hilltop, but Michonne doesn’t want to trigger a war. She’s going to have to convince everyone else that war isn’t the answer, though, and that could prove difficult.

Then, in the sneak peek, Michonne makes her case heard. They can’t go running off to get revenge without a plan. Gabriel will stay behind and defend Alexandria while Aaron takes a group of troops out to defend the southern border to try and keep them from reaching the community. That leaves Michonne, Daryl and Carol available to go meet with Alpha.

Carol can’t believe that they’re going to go in without weapons, but Daryl says they have no choice in the matter.

Of course, this doesn’t sit well with Carol, who grabs a gun from under her bed. There are three bullets in it. She also pops some pills. But what are those pills and what are they for?

Needless to say, there’s a lot to look forward to in the next episode of The Walking Dead!
