With an episode solely based on villains you know you are in for a crazy ride. Season 10 Episode 2 of The Walking Dead had fans shocked and disgusted at every turn, let’s revisit some of these bizarre moments!

The Whisperers are a force to be reckoned with and this episode of The Walking Dead proves that if it was not clear before now. In the apocalypse genre as a whole, we come across villains frequently. Most villains tend to share a similar past when their backstory is brought to the light. They were normal people who had a defining moment that made them go dark, or they might have been less than the model citizen who just gave up the good parts of them.

Alpha and Beta are unique because they seem to have always been evil. We haven’t got the full picture when it comes to Beta’s past, however, it does appear he could have been a patient in a mental hospital. This could be for a variety of reasons but young Lydia’s comment regarding the walls of pillows, as well as the photo of Beta with his best friend outside of the hospital, has made fans wonder. We learn from prior episodes that Alpha always had evil inside her. Killing Lydia’s father and countless others and severely mistreating Lydia as well.

From the moment Alpha and Beta meet they have an understanding of one another. They both talk in low voices and seem to be thriving with the loss of humanity. They share a truly bizarre connection and it is incredibly fascinating to watch. They have both broken down in front of one another at this point. which leads me into the first moment!
