3. Gamma throws her sister to the walkers!

While the other moments I mention are ones that were chilling and/or disgusting, this one was a to shock me! Frances had already proven in this episode to be a weak link. She spent time daydreaming and looking at the sun, or crying and breaking down. When Alpha first showed her mercy, I was confused. When she walked out after seeing Alpha I think all the whisperers were just as confused as me.

Beta, of course, was not a fan of this decision, giving her and Gamma very judging glances throughout the entire episode. While he is an extremely disturbing villain he seems to be a good judge of what is right for wrong for their group. He ended up being right about Frances, her pain was something she simply could not get over. She ended up snapping after seeing a walker with a baby carrier on and attempting to kill Alpha.

Her doing this was surprising but not exactly a shock, she seemed to be a ticking timebomb of emotion. Alpha dying now would be far too soon, so I assumed Beta would barrel past all the walkers to save his Alpha but that was simply not the case! Gamma had made some passive-aggressive comments to her sister, but they were sisters so I did not see this coming.

Gamma decided to put herself in harm’s way and not only save Alpha but throw her sister right to the walkers! Beta still is giving her side-eye, but this act moves her up in Alpha’s eyes. She is anointed to now be Gamma! Gamma is third in the Greek alphabet so she is third in line. If whisperers had awards, this would be it!
