The Walking Dead fans know him as mild-mannered Aaron but Marvel fans know him as the villain Red Skull and now Ross Marquand has been cast as Ultron.

Ross Marquand is a master of celebrity impressions just check out his YouTube videos if you don’t believe me. The Walking Dead fans know him as Aaron, who when we first met him was the recruiter for Alexandria and has been on the series since Season 5. If you are a Marvel fan you may have seen him as Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Next up Marquand has been cast as Ultron in Avengers: Damage Control an all-new VR adventure from Marvel Studios.

Although most of the other stars will again take up their superhero alter egos for this game, James Spader who last played Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron was unavailable to reprise his role. In steps Marquand to play his second villain for Marvel.

Avengers: Damage Control is a virtual reality game that seems to take place in a post Endgame setting. Players get to control characters in Iron Man suits as they battle the back from the dead Ultron.

Marquand took to Instagram to make this announcement:

In The Walking Dead world, we are introduced to Aaron in the tenth episode of Season 5, entitled Them. He approaches Rick’s group to offer to take them to Alexandria. He was always a recruiter for the community of Alexandria. But, in more recent episodes has lost much with the death of Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson) and Jesus (Tom Payne)  and has become a much more aggressive fighter.  Aaron has lost his hand, something that happened to Rick Grimes in the comic book story so many have thought with the loss of Rick that perhaps Aaron would take over his storyline. That is yet to be seen but this new badass Aaron is a character I can get behind. I love the new physical and mental changes in him. And face it, we are losing more power with the exit of Michonne (Danai Gurira) so we need some people to step up and fill that void.

I think the look below that Marquand shared on his Instagram says a lot:

Marquand told Showbiz Cheat Sheet:

"“The Saviors at least you could live within their rule structure if you gave them half of your things. You can’t do it anymore. You get these people are absolutely out of their minds and the only way to defeat them is to beat the violence with more violence.”"

Next. Aaron has lost his sense of diplomacy in TWD season 10. dark

Check out Aaron and the other survivors in season 10 of The Walking Dead Sundays at 9 pm on AMC.
