11) Apparently, as this episode reveals, Gamma’s sister was the woman who abandoned her son at the gates of Hilltop back in Season Nine’s “Bounty”.

12) Beta calls Gamma’s sister “an uncommitted“. While the meaning is obvious, it’s interesting that The Whisperers have slurs for some of their members.

13) After questioning Alpha about why she spared Gamma’s sister, Beta, while mentioning seeing Alpha wander from the camp, asks her if she’s content. As he does so, we can see a drop of water fall from the left cheek of his mask. Was that sweat…or a tear?

14) While discussing her meeting with Alpha, Gamma’s sister mentions Alpha saying she didn’t shed a tear when she killed Lydia. While we see that Beta simply asks why later in the episode, what would the rest of The Whisperers do if they discovered that Alpha didn’t kill Lydia?

15) Gamma’s sister is the third Whisperer we’ve seen attempt to rebel against Alpha. How often do these sorts of…insurrections occur? Judging by the pair of Whisperers who seemed awed by Hilltop’s agriculture, it may be more often than we know.
