The Walking Dead 1004 synopsis: Silence the Whisperers

The Walking Dead continues with “Silence the Whisperers.” Here’s your synopsis of season 10 episode 4 airing October 27, 2019.

Fear takes over in this week’s episode of The Walking Dead as members of the Alexandria community fall victim to the paranoia surrounding the Whisperers. In “Silence the Whisperers” members of the community recognize that they can’t ignore the threat anymore, but in doing so it creates a feeling of unease that might be even worse.

Love him or hate him, Negan is a smart guy. He told Gabriel in “Ghosts” that he wanted to stay locked up inside Alexandria rather than venture out with Aaron because he knew that when he was outside the walls he was a target. Plenty of people want to take out their frustration on Negan, and he knows it. This week, with fear running at a fever pitch, things get a little heated for the former leader of the Saviors.

Meanwhile there’s no denying that the Whisperers are on everyone’s mind. Michonne is trying to figure out their gameplan and it’s Judith who rationalizes that maybe the Whisperers have changed the rules. In the sneak peek of “Silence the Whisperers” she compares Alpha’s tactics to how they wear RJ down at bedtime, and the kid has a big point. That’s exactly what might be happening.
